Help identifying issue w/ mkIV nav

Hi all, recently purchased an 05 mcs with nav, and previous owner had removed the f22 fuse as the nav didn't work when he bought it.

I put the fuse back in and the screen lights up, but it looks garbled. I shot a few seconds of video so you can see what it does and what it looks like when you turn the car on. Any ideas what may be the culprit?

Could be a dead video card in the mk4. Do you have a TV tuner? When you unplug the nav the tv tuner will take over image generation.

The system works like an old school Dessktop PC. The screen is just a monitor. The nav drive is the image generation, RGB cables run from the nav to the screen. The button/**** entry commands the nav drive to do things like a keyboard.

Looking at the video it could be damage to the video card, damage to the RGB cables, damage to the monitor or damage to the RGB connectors.
