Visual boost to mini connected

Hi All,

Having just urgraded my 2007 mini cooper to a 2011 mini clubman d soho with visual boost, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the visual boost to mini connected myself via a software update or will I have to go the garage and pay for the upgrade.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Chris

You might be able to upgrade it yourself if you have NCS Expert software to download it from the BMW server and install it on your car. Don't attempt to do it yourself unless you already have experience using NCS Expert.

There was a thread where a member successfully had the upgrade done by a dealer: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-possible.html
