Funny this thread popped up as mine just started to be intermittent the past couple of days... usually is out when i start the car, but then will come on after a couple of minutes of driving....

... so i guess i know what im in for now....

i know its old but, mine worked perfect last night, this morning its dead. no display no door chime no sound.2009 cooper s.
all fuses are good on the passenger foot well i don't know if there are any other places to look for..

I ordered a new radio fro crutchfield and installed it. 400.00 and a few hours later I have a really nice sounding stereo. Instead of paying the Garrage it’s cheaper and sounds better if you do it.

Having same issue. How does the door chime tie in. Can one correct the software issue and then the radio will start working again? Does the door chime go through the radio somehow?
