I've have seen this question asked several times, but no difitive answer. My appologies if everyone knows the answer. I have a 2005 with H/K. I am like the sound but would like a little more low end bass. The H/K system has great "punchy" bass, but little down low.

Is the easiest thing to do is tap pins 1-4 to get speaker level outs and will I need a line level converter to lessen the wattage? I know that I will loss some bass via the H/K filters, but is this a big deal?

Is there another way, better, but not expensive way?
