Iphone mount without cord clutter
Hi All,
I have been wanting to install an good mount to hold my iphone in my 2007 Cooper. I found many reviews for such mounts like the ones from Craven, ProClip, Kuda etc.
I want to go with one where I can hide the wiring for the charger and Craven seems to be including one with their model but they do not have good instructions for installing their Hidden Wiring kit.
Could someone please share their experience with the Hidden Wiring Kit from Craven? Any pictures or instructions would be very helpful and greatly appreciated!
Also, if you have any other suggestions for an iPhone mount with nice hidden wiring setup please kindly share.
Thank you so much for your time and help!

I used the Craven mount in my last Mini. Wired up per the instructions by tapping under the console into the lighter socket and fed the wire up behind the dash and out to the mount. The only wire visible when you get done should be a short run from the gauge cluster to the phone. Take your time and go slowly and carefully behind the dash, the wire can be routed without being seen or binding on other parts. Also, those metal edges back there are very sharp. I got a pretty good cut out of the experience.
I just got on iPhone so I am looking into this mount as well so I haven't done the installation yet. However, I did add the aux. audio input for my car and to route the wire I used a straightened clothes hanger and attached the cable to it to do the job.
Here's my iPhone cable routing solution. Ran behind dash and notched the dash panel just enough to clear the iPhone cable.
