Aftermarket Satellite Radio?

I have a 2009 JCW without Mini Connect. I don't have satellite radio.

Can I get satellite radio that will be able to be controlled from the factory stereo as I really don't want a separate controller sitting on my dash.

Only via the OEM SAT Radio. This can be installed but is rather expensive.

I thought the same as you. I wanted a nice single interface for satellite radio. Then I got quoted $1k for the module and installation. I found a deal at Fry's on an XM Onyx receiver. They are on sale for $9 this week. I picked up an RG174 extension cable in order to use the factory installed antenna. I ran it under the carpet and up the center console to the passenger cup holder. My module sits in a holder that fits in that cup holder. No messy cables run all over either. Simple 20 minute install and loads cheaper than the stealership. Its convenient for me because I use my receiver in several cars.
