I like Foursquare on my Iphone 4s and am glad it was added to MINI connected, but I haven't been able to get it to work yet. It says to "log on using external device". But that won't work, right? If you close MINI connected on the Iphone and open Foursquare, you are back to using the phone, not the Nav screen.

Any ideas or hints?

You have to login on the connected app or the foursquare app on the iPhone before plugging it into your car. You dont login through the car.

It's the same way twitter, Facebook, and pandora work.

Does that make sense?

 

I'll try that. I do access Facebook through MINI Connected without first logging in. But that doesn't work with Twitter. Thanks.
