I believe I need to replace the Harmon Kardon equipped HU in my 2005 MCS Conv. I was checking ebay and see that there could be a model difference after 2004. The pictures of 03/04 look just like my 05.

For what it is worth my Dice Unit is no longer working after 4 months and I would lean towards the Dice being the problem. However, Everything I check on the dice unit from connectivity to firmware tells me it is working properly. Where as the HU no longer recognizes the Ipod and now only shows AUX and sometimes plays the radio when it is showing aux. I also get a funky trouble code of 1 99 9 * * * * . To me the HU is acting wonky. I even pulled the battery to let it discharge with no result.

I called Crutchfield and they indicate to keep the sound quality and steering controls that I would be looking at a full system replace.
