After doing a lot of research on NAM and mini2 concerning the aftermarket head units' capability with the mfsw i've come to the conclusion that i want to get a uk deck so i can use their hard wire mfsw connector. This way i will avoid having to tear everything apart to install the swix unit, which i've heard mixed reviews about. My main question is the compadability of a UK head unit in a US car, all connectors and power the same? Has anyone here done this solution? I'm looking at getting the alpine CDA-9812RR, the styling looks like it will go nicely with the interior on the mini. Are there any other adapters i'd need? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
elenex

Have you talked with mikeythemini at M2 yet? He should be able to tell you everything about the eurospec system. He might even have the adapters you might need.
