MINI ignores City & State from Android phonebook

I just got a 2012 MINI Cooper S hardtop with MINI connected & Navigation.
I successfully paired it with my Samsung Galaxy S (AT&T Captivate) phone.
The MINI successfully downloads the contacts (presumably, with Bluetooth PBAP) from this Android device but when I try to use the navigation guidance to one of the contacts I find that it is missing the City and the State part of the address - only the Street is intact.

I have entered addresses using gmail contacts sync'ed to my phone and I have entered addresses into the phone directly.
In both cases, I use the forms that break the address into its discrete parts (i.e. Street, City, State)
I have also tried entering addresses into my phone exactly as they would be if I entered them directly into the MINI Navigation system (Street, City, State).
No luck.

I see on http://www.mini.com/connectivity/ that a very similar phone (AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide) is marked as Phonebook-Address compatible with my car.
I see the same suggested here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...HjCm-AfA&hl=en

Any ideas?

Problem solved.

The bluetooth compatibility check on http://www.mini.com/connectivity/ for AT&T Samsung Captivate Glide says:
> Details valid for software version : Android 2.3.5
My phone was running 2.1.<something>.

This upgrade recently became available
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/Su...0&fm_seq=32978

The upgrade solves the problem.

Glad to hear you got it solved. Software revisions can make or break any system.
