Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is anything I can install to play and control music from my iPhone with usb connection not from the headset mini plug. I have 07 with NAV and installed iPhone connection couple of years ago. it's so slow and the cable is in the hidden compartment. Thank you.

 

Well the 07's did not come with a USB connection but you could upgrade the car to have it but that is rather expensive going via the OEM route and a lot of work and some new wiring harnesses.

You could also go the aftermarket route and there are a number of threads here about how others have done it and what they have used. Search and read and you can come up with ideas about how much work each way is and if you are willing to go those routes.

 

Everything I've read about that "factory" iPod hidden compartment system for the 07 car (I think it used the CD changer interface/wiring) was a mess. Maybe aftermarket. You'll get WAY better sound through the Aux connection if you use a dock connector to the iPhone/Pod not the headphone jack.
