Midrange pod/window switch removal made easy

I've seen a number of threads with people having a ton of issues removing the driver's door midrange pod/window switch assembly. I removed mine a couple of days ago for the first time and once I got it apart I took a few pics of the process I used. Hopefully it will make things easier for everyone else. I'm not covering the pod removal since it's been done MANY times over. For my method I did NOT pull the window switch apart. I probably could have pulled the window switch out and disconnected it but I wasn't sure how much slack I had not how exactly it came out. Having had it apart now I can probably do it that way next time.

First, I removed the pod until the only thing holding it in place was the window switch wiring.

Inside there are two plugs. One white and one black. The white comes out first. You CAN squeeze the end and remove the white plug but I wasn't having much luck so I used a small flathead screwdriver to press down on the locking pin and pulled it out.

The black plug has no locking tab and pulls right out. Here's the plug receptacles on the switch.

The reason I had the pods off.

And the driver's side. Note the plugs coming out of the midrange mounting area. There is some slack in these wires. My mids are snug in there and hold the wires in place so I pulled the slack out and then tightened the mid:
