bluetooth problems

Is there anybody else out there that has problems with your bluetooth?
After the connection is made the person on the other end says my voice is muffled or sounds like I am under water. I brought it to the service dept. and they said the engineers have been working on the problem. Corporate documented my complaint and will send it along. Along where?
I have a 2011 mini conv. s
Anyone else with this experience?????

No issues with mine.

Perhaps something with yours being a convert?

Well there are a number of things that can cause this issue and some of them are not MINI related they are problems with the phone model.

But the biggest problem with this is that the microphone is on the wrong side of the car (does not apply to convertibles though). And there is a thread that shows how to move the microphone to the drivers side of the car.

Try this first and then if you are still having a problem come back and give us more info on your phone, like make model and firmware version if you can.

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I have an I -phone! Verizon service. I have a 2011 convertible- I think the same color as yours. Brown top/black bottom/black wheels and all of the goodies. Love my Mini. I do not love the unusable Bluetooth!!!!

Plingos,

unfortunately there is no moving of the microphone on a convertible as there is on the coops or clubman.

Check the bluetooth volume on the iPhone. Here is a thread that you should read on the subject. there are two volumes you may need to adjust to get the best call quality.
