Hi, I had my Cooper for about six months now. I love my HK system, and like to listen to it somewhat loud (in electronic mode). But lately, I started to hear rattles in the back. So, I opened the hatch, and realized it was the side panels (that cover the amp on one side). Is this normal?? If not, how can I fix it? Thank you in advance.

Yes, the boot side panels are prone to rattling. You can remove them (they're aesthetic only) or trim them with gasketing foam. Ditto on the gasketing foam for the door cards, they love to rattle up against the door sheetmetal. The H/K's higher displacement really brings out the worst in the interior NVH design.

good luck,
Ryan
