THIS IS FOR A 2007 MINI "S". My navi system does not recognize any movement on the car. It still thinks I am at a location 100 miles away. A spot I visited around 2 months ago. You can scroll through the menu, add a new destination and then nothing. The map shows the wrong location.

I have tried to reset the system, checked the antenna ( I replaced the old one), eject the Map CD, etc. Nothing seems to work. I am out of warranty, so my non dealership mechanic shows no error codes related to the navi. It never seems to locate the current spot where I am at.

Any ideas to get this back up and running?

Just a shot in the dark, but have you tried unplugging the battery for a couple minutes?

Is it possible the line from the antenna to the computer is disconnected? or broken?
