I have an 03 MCS, no nav and no HK system. The driver's side speaker near the base of the door (the 5.25" speaker) is blown. Is there a good drop-in replacement available for under $50 or so? I don't need fantastic sound quality, I mostly listen to electronic music.

 

Mine is blown too. The stock replacement is $50-$60 depending on which dealer you buy from. MINI of Atlanta was cheaper than my local dealer, so I am going to see if they will match the price.

I would think if you go aftermarket, you would have to replace the set. Haven't seen a set for under $50 unless you find something used in the NAM marketplace.
