Installed MediaBridge - Lots of noise!

I have a MediaBridge installed in the glovebox and it is connected to the back of the headunit (Not trunk)

When I select the MediaBridge I have a lot of interference noise. The usual high pitched whine (that gets higher pitched the faster I drive).

Now.. I thought it was the Ipod cable or RCA cable that was causing the whine.. but when i completely detach the cables entirely the whine is still there.

Oddly, when the MediaBridge "annouces" the mode i am in (ex. "usb mode") the whine temporarily disappears.

Is there any way to fix this? Do I need to wrap the MediaBridge itself in somehting to shield it?

Thanks!
