Iphone mounting problems...

Hey guys,

So I've been trying to search through the threads but haven't found anything. I just got my justa cooper last week and I'm trying to mount my iphone. I bought an IGrip mount that works great and is rather inexpensive, although when I tried to mount the sticky base to my dash it just wasn't strong enough because the dash isn't flat and the whole thing doesnt stick. Do any of you guys have any ideas?

I find there are no good spots on the window because it is so far away compared to most cars. That's why I tried to mount it to my dash but that didn't work either.

If anyone has any pics I'd love to see them, hopefully it will help me in my dilemna.

Many people mount a suction cup mount to the speedo.

Other than that there are many mounts out there from companies like Kuda, Craven Speed and others.

I like the Craven speed mounts as they actually attach to the rear of the Tach housing and you have real easy access and visual sight of the phone.

Check them out at www.cravenspeed.com

Ditto on the Cravenspeed. I installed it and it works great. I actually posted a video of my installation... Just search for it on Youtube

Craven Speed W mount. On the right is an arm with a ball adapter. I took the suction cup part off the TomTom adapter for iPhone and mounted it to the ball at the end of the arm. Its hardwired so it also charges the iPhone as well as boosting the GPS signal. Has a speaker on the rear so it also amplifies the spoken turn by turn directions from the TomTom for iPhone app.

I am very happy with how this came out.
