Subwoofer installment help!
Hey out there on NAM! I just recently got a duel 500 Watt subwoofer. I wanted to install it in my car but i don't have a clue on how to do it.
would like to keep the cost cheep. I want to keep my own head unit and i would be purchasing an amp. any ideas on how big?
But anyone's opinion will help! If anyone knows the basic "how too's that would be great! I drive a 2009 MCCS It has the standard stereo with the ipod/bluetooth. Thank you!

Agreed, there is a TON of info here about how to go about the installation. When doing mine, the installation instructions from Integral Audio helped quite a bit, even though I was not installing their sub: http://www.integralaudio.com/install...tion_Guide.pdf
As far as an amp goes, that depends on the sub. I think most of those Dual 12" subs take 150W RMS, so that is pretty much what you are looking for in an amp. Do you have an enclosure for the sub, or just the sub itself?
