Navigation & Audio XM memo to dealers 12/22/03

I happened to see a memo from Mini corporate to all dealers stating that XM is not supported and it went on to tout the "advantages" of Sirius.

I assume this came about because several dealerships ( two in VA that I know of ) are offering XM as an alternative and there is most likely a contractual agreement between Sirius and Mini. Since XM corporate is in D.C. I can see why it would be easy for XM reps to fan out and hit a few dealers and experiment.

Hmm, maybe some of the dealers will start offering OnStar instead of Lojack.
