Mirror Switch R56 Removal Help

Haven't dived into a speaker replacement yet in my 2010, but I'm getting ready to. I have searched and searched for some pictures and guidance when dealing with the mirror switch removal in order to gain access to the smaller front door speaker, but coming up dry.

Wondering if anyone can help me out, even a link to something I'm not finding would help. I've had the small speaker out on the right side, pretty straight forward. But I'm needing someone to help me understand what I'm in for to remove the left side that has the mirror switch in the grill pod.

Many thanks in advance.

it basically just pops out....

that being said its a bit of a pain to deal with.
On the bottom of the switch inside there is a metal pressure flange that allows it to click onto the opening. So if you have a small stiff plastic screw driver you can slip it into that area and it will release and allow you to slide it out.

The pain part, is there are 4 small slip on paddles on the back side of it...pay attention to those and don't lose them when you pull it out.
