I have a "new to me" 2008 MCS Convertible. I would like to install a sirius antenna in the antenna base, and have found a nice thread with pictures showing how to do it. Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me remove the convenience light panel over the rear view mirror. I am able to pry the rearward edge downward, and have exerted quite a bit of force, but it feels like the whole trim panel attached to the windshield surround is going to release instead of just the convenience light panel. Any trick for how this panel lets go?

Also, the car has the HK stereo system, with an iPod cable and an aux-in connector in the glove compartment. The iPod cable has extremely low volume, and the aux-in doesn't seem to work at all as "aux" is not a selection when pressing the "mode" button on the front of the stereo. Any ideas?
