HK Amp Question (R50 vs R53)

My brother has a 2005 MINI Cooper S with the HK stereo and his amp went out. After removing the panels he realized that he bought a R50 amp and not an R53 amp. Does anyone know if this will be an issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.

The R50 amp isn't supercharged.

Eric, are you telling me I shouldn't have attached the AMP to the supercharger? I thought the sound would travel faster out of my speakers that way.
