i'm in the same boat as you except i have an 06. Hopefully someone will respond to this.

 

I bought a Motorola T215 for my son's car. I bought it online from Newegg for $40. We're very satisfied with the unit.

 

You have to turn on Motorola T215 and similar units every time you get in the car... That's the problem, I always forget to do it.

I want something that is on automatically once I start the car.

I've ordered it, just $80 and seems easy to install - will post here once I receive the kit.

 

Installed the Scosche BT1000. Works great, took about 30 min to install.

 

I have the Motorola IHF1000 Bluetooth Car Kit and it is wonderful. 2/3s off on Amazon at the moment. It has worked perfectly for over a year now. It is well worth the money.
