Aux inopt and Ipod adapter?

So here's my dilemma... I have the MINI Ipod adapter in my 2005 MCS, and in order to use my Sirius Sportster (and its weak FM transmitter) I'm going to have to install the Auxiliary Input jack.

My question is do both the MINI ipod adapter and the auxiliary jack use the same input in the back of the stock head unit or are they independent and able to be both installed at once?

I just sent back the Sirius direct connect FM antenna adapter because the stock head unit has a non-standard antenna plug so any help I can get before I order something else that I may have to return would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

No problem at all. The iPod adapter actually uses the CD changer connector on the radio. The aux is independent and you can use both sources.
