Dice G2 iPhone/iPod Cradle

Hey all:

After installing a Kuda mount in my Land Rover I am going to add one to my Clubman S. The original passthrough mount for iPhone is out of stock and Dirk at Kuda sent me a link to the newer version. (below)

Has anyone seen this mount in person? I am a bit leery of the bright metal logo badge for the manufacturer across the front.

Has anyone tried to take it off?

Thanks.

I own one but haven't installed it yet.
Why take the badge off, it's kind of pretty.
The problem it's a little bit tight with iPhone skins like
bodyguardz and invesible shield.
