Greetings all,

I just purchased a used '07 Convertible with the HK system in it. When I picked up the car I was told by the sales team that I could add the ipod dock and SIRIUS (I have lifetime sub) to it. However, when I called the service department here in Richmond I was told that the parts for SIRIUS are no longer available as they were no longer made. So is this true? They also told me that I could not have both the iPod and Sat and I would have to pick. This is contrary to what I was told prior to signing for the car.

Any help the forum can offer is much appreciated. If I can't get the OEM parts I may go to market, but I'd love if everything was Mini. The car still has warranty left on it as it only has 22K miles so I'd like to keep it by not voiding anything.

 

Not sure if they stopped making the sirius (would be odd if the did). I have the HK system with OEM sirius and intravee for my ipod with my GPS so it is definitely possible. I have a 2007 MCSC like you.
