Add a sub and amp to an HK system

so I own a 2005 mini with the HK system and I want to add an amp and sub.

Am I reading things right that I can only cut in at one of the wires from the amp to the rear speaker? I hook my LOC there?

My amp also has high level inputs (if that helps or matters?).

what about the remote wire? where do I hook that in? Thanks guys

My HK amp is running the HK speakers around the car while my aftermarket amp is powering my 10" sub.. so far it sounds great. Especially when the mini is a hatchback and I have the sub and amp in a roadsound box, people who sit in the car say its one of the best sounding simple systems they've heard in a while
