Voice entry of name and phone number for bluetooth

I want to use voice entry (name) to call individuals with my iphone in bluetooth. Does anyone know how this is done. When I say enter name it works, then enter number, and after number is said it says continue....what do I need to say to enter name and number and use the voice entry to make a call?

"dial" is the word, I believe.... ? been awhile since I used that feature...

Here's info from the manual....:
The commands would go :

You say: Dial Number
Car Says: Please speak the number
You Say: 555-5555
Car Says: 555-5555 continue?
You Say: Dial.
(dials..)

If you miss dial you can say: "Correction" or "Delete"

To dial a name that you've stored in the car's computer already, it goes:

You Say: Dial Name
Cars Says: something like dial (name)?
You Say: Yes
(dials..)

Schatzy62 posted a nice list of commands for adding voice entries to non-nav cars in this thread.

For a while there was confusion because the manual had a misprint that made things not-work if you followed it too.

Also it seems to be dependent on the version of Firmware on the iPhone. Some seem to not be voice dial compatible.

Unfortunately it means a lot of reading but rad thru the sticky thread at the top of the Nav and Audio section titled "Bluetooh Compatibility List".
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lity-list.html

and then search for threads about the iPhone and read all of those as well they will give you a lot of information.

That's right, I also remember there was a misprint. I'll have to try to use mine today to see what words actually work. I guess I'm not popular enough to receive/dial many phone calls on my 5 minutes to and from work every day, so I don't get to use this feature much!
