Could anyone tell me if in fact the DVD NAV system in the 04 Mini is manufactured by Siemens VDO Dayton division and is to spec. on the MS5500 model. ?.

I guess it must be an unmarked brand ??.
Any idea`s on a location I could read up on the specifications of the unit then?

The Unit is a VDO Dayton, but I am not sure the model number of it. You can call VDO to find out.
