05 HK audio - possible to have ipod adaptor + aux both???

I have 2005 MCS with Harman Kardon audio system (CD Boost?)

It has iPod adaptor. (Headunit controls ipod - plays playlist named MINI1, MINI2, etc)

Can I have iPod adaptor AND aux input installed (not played) at the same time?

Also, how do you enable the automatic volume control on this?

I followed the instruction, and I can't change it from the "LINEAR" setting.

Yes, aux input and iPod adapter plug into different inputs at the back of the radio, and you can select between the two.

About the aux connector, where can I buy it, and does anybody have a NAM link showing installation instructions? I just received an ad from XM about their new SkyDock (for iTouch) and it appears to be great alternative to BMW's 900+ Sirius installation package.
