I now have a 2009 JCW MINI with Nav. I have a question on the map display colors. My display looks like it is in a night mode; the background of the display/map is always BLACK. Previously, I had a 2004 MINI S with Nav and it had multiple colors for the bacground. Is there a day/night mode that I'm missing in the '09? I didn't see anything in the manual and can't find an option in setup to change the display. Can the dealer program in the "day-look" maps or am I stuck with the black?

 

there's no way to change the colors. I know exactly what you mean. We're stuck.

You might have to modify the firmware to change it.
