amping new speaker setup

So I am replacing all my speaker on the stock boost system (Polk db6501 components and Polk db691 6x9's.) I am going to add a PDX-5 amp as well since the stock HU just won't put out enough power to drive the speaker proper. So I am assuming from my reading through the ton's of threads that I must tap the x9331 with a line out converter then run rca's to the amp (correct me if I am wrong or their is a better or easier way, also can anyone suggest a good loc.) So now I have a signal to the amp, do I have to rewire the speaker from the amp with fresh speaker wire or is their an easy way to reuse the existing wiring. Oh I am thinking of either putting the amp under the passenger seat or in the dip in floor in the boot where the tools are. Any suggestions would help I have never hooked an amp to anything but subs and its always been off aftermarket head units so I am new to all the working around the stock setup.

It sounds like you've got it right That's pretty much what you have to do... Now about re-using the wiring. If you decide to use the connector, then you don't have to take apart the dash... but if you want to re-use the wires in the doors, you're going to have to cut the pairs out of the wire looms and that can become a pain in the a$$!! I recommend running new wire for the fronts (it's not terribly hard to do) and you'll make sure your speakers get enough current from the amp.

Also for the rears, what I would do is find the pairs in the two wire bundles, cut and extend them. That way you avoid taking apart the rear part of the car.

No it should not disable the bluetooth audio as long as the OEM Head unit is used.

Depending on which LOC you use and its size there should be room in one of the compartments under the seats.
