Does anyone have any experience hooking up an iPod MP3 player in their MINI. I wold love to find a clean way to install mine.

Welcome to the board....
This topic was discussed in (Great) detail a while ago.
If you do a search within the Forums area you should be able to find quite a bit of info on it.

As far as I can remember... I think there are a couple of ways to hook it up. One being a FM module or something of that nature.
Also.... On the 03 models the Stock radio will have hook ups for an MP3 Player built in.

Within that article (Which was released by MINI NA in August) The mention several changes for the 03 model. The MP3 hook ups being one of them.
