Navigation & Audio Location of Bluetooth Antenna
Location of Bluetooth Antenna
I've been doing some extensive work on the interior of my car recently (sound deadening, audio upgrades, etc) and I noticed the other day that my phone is no longer pairing with the radio. My first inclination was that I had forgotten to reconnect one of the many mysterious white boxes in the trunk area, or that I had reconnected it incorrectly. I've tried to search on RealOEM for the location of the Bluetooth module/antenna and cannot seem to determine WHERE in the car the module is located. I also found this thread from 2 years ago where another user had the same issue, but it was never resolved.
I removed the entry for my phone from the radio and removed my radio's pairing from my phone, and tried to start fresh. When I put the radio in pairing mode, it never showed up on my phone, even after several minutes. This seemed to confirm my suspicion that the Bluetooth antenna was not connected.
So, does anyone know exactly where this thing is, and what it looks like?

Edit:
And it plugs into the ULF module in the compartment under the driver seat.
One thing you may want to try first is to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 20-30 minutes and then reconnect and try to pair your phone again. There are a number of modules that can get hung up and will not release until a full loss of power and then reset when reconnected to power.

schatzy, you are my hero.
I'm going to try the battery thing before I inspect the module because I didn't lay any mat in the center console area and have actually never removed those panels before.
By the way, those diagrams are much more informative than the ones on RealOEM. Where do you get them?
