So after working with my Ipod for a while I have changed to this set up. I have a 16GB mini usb drive....

And have nested certain artists in their own folders. IE, one folder named The Beatles and inside that folder are folders for each of my Beatles CD's. The Pico Mini drive is unbelievably small but works like a charm. Its so small I can't even see it in the USB port. But 16GB of music (I'm only carrying about 8GB right now) is a lot of music. This is much better to me than the Ipod, which was 32 GB but I was only using about half that space. With the USB drive it is even easier to move music on and off of it, just drop and drag folders. Scrolling through is a bit of a pain, but nesting all of one artist in one master folder helps a lot. Audio quality depends on the quality of the file. Sure wish the MINI had a real graphic EQ availible!

Is there a thread around here somewhere that says the USB flash drive doesn't work?

I use one too - its a great feature and it works well!
