iPod interface issue
I have an issue with the iPod interface I installed in my wife's 06 MCS that I need help with.
First let me say that I installed the interface in my 03 MCS without issue and it works great.
Both installations are with the OEM interface from the dealer.
Here is the situation:
Installed in an 06 MCS with HK (no CD Changer or Sirius)
I plug in the iPod and it is recognized by the system. I can change tracks, change playlists, and can control it as advertised with the steering wheel controls. (including volume controls)
No matter what playlist I go to it will not display tracks past 6 or 12 (depending on the weather i guess). It should go up to track 99 and then roll back to 01.
I can't tell if it is a playing time issue or a track issue but it seems to only play 5 or 6 songs and then it freezes.
I can no longer change the playlist or track or modes. I must unplug the iPod and plug back in for it start working again. It will not resume on the last song. I have to start all over again.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for the help.

On the 2nd gen and 1st gen face lift Mini's the car needs to be re-coded to give fully functionality to the IPOD interface.
As there are so many differnet options available most are disabled if not selected as a factory option to allow the the CPU system on the car to run faster and more efficiently (and maybe to make more £££+$$$$ for dealers later)
