Got my dvd deck installed on Fri. but installers had to remove seat to put control under seat. By doing that it caused the airbag light to come on. Anyone had this problem too? Did you guys go to the dealer to reset the light?

 

Miniphyter, this is god trying to tell you not to put DVD players and LCD screens in your MINI.

But seriously, there are lots of threads on "airbag light". Here's one from a while back (there have been more recent, as this question comes up nearly monthly) that links to others with lots of info. But since this happened in your car as a result of actually disconnecting the airbag system (probably what happened), the fix should be relatively easy...plug it all back together securely and then have MINI service reset the light. Yes, you will need to go to service as the light WILL NOT reset itself once everthing is reconnected properly. Good luck!
