Hi, I am in the process of getting a Clubman S. The car has arrived at the dealership but I haven't been able to see it yet as I am far from it. My car doesn't have the convenience pkg. does that mean it won't have the USB port next to the AUX port?

 

You are correct. The USB/iPod comes with the conv. package and if you did not order that then you will not get it.

BTW it is not a simple thing to add either. There are at lest three modules htat need to be changed or added to do this upgrade and it would cost in the range of $1700 + for parts plus the labor on top of that. That is if the dealer would even think of doing it.

 

is the ipod Y-cable included in the convenience package, comfort convenience, or both???

 

I am guessing that the AUX port will still be included right.

 

You only get the "Y-Cable" included if you meet the following requirements.

1. You buy the car in the US. (Non US purchase it is not included)
2. You have the Conv Package
3. Your dealer does not steal it an make you par for another one.

The AUX port should be there no mater what.

 

USB is part of the Bluetooth option. Bluetooth just happens to be included in the Conv Pkg. You can order Bluetooth separately without getting the entire Convenience Package and USB would be included.
