I have installed this in my 07, works like a charm. This a great hands free device and uses the steering wheel controls. You can do a search in this forum using words like Parrot and 3100. Installation is easy but time consuming, but has have great instructions. I really like it.

Hmmmm I see. You wouldn't by any chance have an iPhone 3g and could tell me if it works? :-)

A few Questions:

1. Does the name show up on the radio?
2. Are the controls the same as the stock system?
3. Does it mute or pause my music?
4. Where is the microphone?
5. How hard is it to install? (I'm a computer Major in College)
6. Will it automaticly pair/connect once I get in the car and turn it on?

Ok so maybe it was a little more than a few.

1. Does the name show up on the radio? No, on the sepertae display in the picture
2. Are the controls the same as the stock system? You dont get phone book browsing or volume from the mfsw. You get Answer, end & voice dial
Browsing & volume are done from the controls on the small display
3. Does it mute or pause my music? mutes/pauses the standard system, just mutes if sat nav fitted
4. Where is the microphone? - I normally mount it at the top of the A pillar
5. How hard is it to install? (I'm a computer Major in College) Not hard, just a long job due to the ammount af panels to remove - instructions provided
6. Will it automaticly pair/connect once I get in the car and turn it on? Yes

Ok so maybe it was a little more than a few. LOL
We also offer http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=396 this doesnt have a display but offers volume control as well as answer end & voice dial from the mfsw

We are working on a fully integrated solution with display in the speedo but it will need programming so will only be available FITTED at our workshop

I wish I could get that fully intergrated however I live in the USA. However with all the information you have provided, all I have to say is my paycheck cant come fast enough.

Do you by any chance have the instructions in a PDF? I would love to take a look at what I will be doing before I get the item. Thanks!

If the value of the dollar didn't suck wind, I'd buy one. The pounds to dollar conversion is a beat down right now. :(

It was bit less than 2:1 (dollar:pound) last time I checked.

That's .676 Pounds to the Dollar.

So, it's come up about 15 percent since last fall. I went to London in August and it was almost exactly .500 (2 Dollars per Pound).

Is there a photo of the 1st gen version available? It isn't on the newministuff website. I can't decide if I want the display or not....kinda like advertising 'steal me'....this is an old post hope someone sees it!

I used one of these parrot systems in my old ridgeline. Worked like a champ, but not nearly as clean as the integrated bluetooth. Voice dialing seemed to work well, and the bluetooth streaming worked great too.

This was all with both an iPhone 3G and 2G.

Look up parrot systems, and buy it on ebay... much better pricing ($99 shipped when I bought it)
