Well, I broke down and bought the Roady today. I am still trying to figure out where I want to install it. I was originally thinking about the parcel shelf. The more I think about this, the less I actually like the idea. It could possibly fit (not sure yet) on the parcel shelf, but would not be at all visible while driving. This would mean taking your eyes off of the road to change the channel (since there is no remote as of this moment). It would be sort of like dropping something on the floor and having to bend down to get it (like in the movies where you see people crash )

Next would be where the cupholders are. Haven't quite figured this one out either. Sure, I wouldn't have to install another 12VDC adapter (since the cig lighter is right there), but I will most likely lose the cupholders. Another thought is using the MINI-FINI cupholder to house the unit. This would mean wires directly visible. Oh boy! I am stuck.

I anyone has a few suggestions, I would be eternally grateful. I am not going to drill holes in Mojo though. He's too new

I'm reposting these because search currently doesn't work. This thing is a bit larger than a roady, but nonetheless:

MOtor On!

Wow! Great install, Phobol. I too am considdering installing XM. I've seen some great places for the receiver, but the one thing holding me back from getting it is that I haven't seen too many places to put the antenna that thrill me. I have nav and sunroofs. I was thinking...is there a glass-mount antenna that I could put on the inside of the back sunroof? Would I get any reception? Any other ideas where I could hide the antenna?

There is a glass mount antenna, but it is HUGE and I don't think it would mount properly on the sunroof. Check out xmfan.com. They have an online store, you can see this antenna there.

I picked up the Audiovox Shuttle for Sirius and placed the antenna on the dashboard on the passenger side. I believe that the antenna is about the size of the new Roady unit, maybe slightly larger. the antenna isn't that noticeable and it gets pretty good reception there.

Nice install, Phobol. So you opted for the final SKIFi installation to the left of the steering wheel? Does the adhesive holder really withstand sudden car jarring or vibrations (like hitting potholes).

I can see that with today's car accessories, the area behind the cupholders can look vey busy. How does the SKIfi work with the MFSW?
