Anyone with basic bluetooth and standard sport wheel?

Does anyone have 08 or 09 "S" with basic bluetooth and the standard sport steering wheel? If so, how do you make or receive a call? I may not get the MFSW because of a recent change to C Pkg. I understand I can get MFSW and some of the CP items seperately but that drives us the cost.

I'm hoping I can place and receive a call using radio controls on the center console but the basic manual I downloaded from another site has not mention of this. BTW this will be a non-nav build.

Thanks.

I do.

It uses the buttons on the radio. Holding the phone button will get you to the phone mode, or menu/phone. From there you can dial from the phone book, or using numbers. To receive a call you hit the phone button, or the OK button. The radio also displays the caller ID. It works quite well, I wish Tristan had something similar.

Thank you. This information will save me some money since I don't want to order the C Pkg with arm rest and comfort bluetooth. I have a MFSW on my Lexus and never use it. Guess old habits are hard to break. I guess I need to spend more time in an "S" to see all of the features.

Just to be sure, you are aware that you get no Cruise Control without the MFSW.

I can nto live without the MFSW as this also has the volume controls for the Radio/CD/iPod. The other buttons on the MFSW also allow you to control the phone functions such as scrolling thru the phone book, it also allows you to scroll thru radio stations, iPod play lists, etc.

So if you don't like those options Okay, But for me i can't do without.
