What is this wire?

I was doing the channel swap mod for the R56. Upon completion, i noticed this little wire "hanging out" from the bottom of the driver door panel. What is that thing!?!! looks like it got disconnected and comes straight down from the panel.... hmmmmm

Is your "puddle light" working on that door? Only thing I can remember routed down there, from when I had the panel off doing a speaker transplant.

The wire colors indicate that it is probably the Puddle Light Wiring.

Pop the puddle light/lens out of its hole in the bottom of the door - the wire plugs onto the bulb. You'll have to sneak the wire back under the edge of the panel, then out through the light's hole, but may not have to pop the whole panel off.
