hookig up a aftermarket 4 channel ?

Ok , what i am looking to do is find the plug thats going to the speakers. not the plug between the amp and the headunit. My plan is to get a 4 channel LOC and plug it into the amps signa wires and run and run a USamp 4 channel to the factory speaker wire plug so i dont have to run wire from the doors and such. Can somebody point me in the right direstion I have a cooper S

Do you have the Standard or the HiFi system. the wiring will vary depending on which you have as some of the wires are used for both but others are use only for one system or the other.

we need to know this info to help you.

Just to begin with there is a connector called x9331 and that has all the signals you need but in one case )non-hifi) the output side of that connector goes to speakers and in the other case (hifi) the wires go to the amp and then there is an added wiring harness to connect to the speakers. Also along those line in one system the signals at x9331 are filter passed for one system and not the other from the head unit.

So tell us which syustem you have and we can tell you the best route to head.

Two (and more) good threads with info about the connector:

You can use Stinger SGN13 adapter to get an RCA out.
