Navigation & Audio Quick question... Bluetooth...?

Hi mini5974,
As someone who's been researching this somewhat to death during the past week, my first advice is to check the Navigation & Audio section of the 2nd Gen MINIs. There is a lot (LOT) of information about specific phones, setup, aftermarket, etc. It may not ultimately get you to a decision, but you will learn a lot about this feature and NAMers experience with it. Good luck!

The Bluetooth module wasn't really designed to be retro-fittable in the 2nd gen MINIs. If you didn't include it as an option at the factory, it's very cost prohibitive. Estimates that others have reported range from $1000-1200.
Chances are you're seeing less responses in your post too, since it's in the first gen section...
You might want to consider an aftermarket solution like the Parrot kits, or the mObridge bluetooth kit.
It's still expensive, but maybe not as much, and probably an easier install.
