Doesn't look like anyone has posted anything new. So I thought I would ask. I have a '07 R56 with Nav System. I have the DVD North America 65 90 0 415 624.

And they are not showing anything new for the 07 Mini Cooper. Anyone getting new Minis with Nav Systems. What Map DVD is coming from the factory? Is there a new Nav DVD?

Also I know I could call 1-888-628-6277, according to the original envelope, but that means I have dial a phone...

2008-01 is the latest DVD version I have for the Mark IV navi.

 

In April I contacted Navteq and was told 2008.1 was the latest for the Mini. However their website never has updated to show it. They said I could call them to get it.

 

Hmmm... Well, since I have 2007.2, and the latest one is 2008.1, I'd guess that they only cut a new DVD once every six months or twice a year. I'm not sure I want to spend close to $200 for just six months worth map updates. Maybe I'll wait for 2008.2 or 2009.1.

I wouldn't pay for any map update unless it has roads you are specifically missing...or if they fix the POI search issue.

 

That's true, but how would you know if they updated a specific road? Unless you bought it. I have three friends who have just moved into new developments. I do get a kick out of how my Mini thinks it's in the middle a big field.

Two of them have BMW's with Nav Systems, and it would be cool if my Mini knew where their houses were but theirs didn't. Ok, that wouldn't be SO cool.

 

Hi! this is my first time posting....!

Did anyone order a mini with a nav and didn't get their nav dvd? I just received my mini two weeks ago and I have no nav dvd. the dealer doesn't know where it is. They said they would order me another nav dvd but they are on international back order. Then a week later I got a call and they said they have my nav dvd. I was so excited. but when we tried the dvd in the car and my nav system didn't read it. i looked up the reason in my mini user's guide and it says if the system doesn't read it then it is the wrong dvd. i brought it in for service and well the service guy tells me the same thing. They ordered me the nav dvd with the number 65 90 0 431 727 on it. Does any one have the 2008 mini with this part number for their nav? Which one will work in my 08 mini. The dealership seems to have no clue which to order! The nav dvd I have says copyright in 2007. But it doesn't say which version it is. Anyone help!
