Mine just came in and the dealer sent me pictures. I ordered it with the backup sensors because I love buttons and gadgets. On the convertibles and the configurator it shows the sensors in the middle of the back bumper in the painted section. I noticed on mine in the picture they are on the black part on the bottom of the bumper?? Is this a change that they did on 09's that could have made it to mine???

Congratulations on your new car. You're going to love it. Did you get the nav system, too? With it, the backup sensor information appears on the nav screen.

My 2007 car has its sensors on the black portion, as well.

The cabrio is still a first-generation model. It won't be updated until the 2009 series. That probably explains the difference. I"m not sure about the configurator.

Yes I did get the nav too for future resale since most cars will have it in the future and right now I actually rule out cars when I am buying them that don't have nav plus I like it all integrated. Yes I really can't wait to get it Monday. I am happy to join the board and become part of the group :-D
