HELP!!! I WANT XM!!!

This is probably a silly question, but I need help. I have a 2008 Mini S with factory Bluetooth and iPOD dock.

I WANT XM.

I control my iPod and phone with the steering wheel buttons. Does anyone know if I can have a XM unit installed that I can control from the steering wheel also?

Thanks

I have the blitzsafe and XM and can use the steering wheel but mine is a first generation. Unless your car is a Cabrio I think you might want to have this moved to the second generation forum.

If you have an R56 then you cannot currently have fully intergrated XM (until the completed merger and likely new factory sat receiver will be available). You can use a stand alone receive (sportscaster, roady, etc) via the aux in port and it will play great thru your sound system. You can control volume via the steering wheel controls, but other functions must be controlled via the xm head unit. I have a sportscaster and it fits very neatly in the cubby under the center stack and works quite well.

If you have a 2008 Cabrio, see picture below
Bavarian autosports may also have information on installing in a Gen2.
