LOVE the way the Bluetooth phone book works (pulls up an A-Z listing which you can then scroll to a letter of the alphabet and start your scrolling search there).

Is there any way to make the iPod work that way? I've got over 400 albums on my iPod and it's VERY tedious twisting the **** seemingly hundreds of times to get to M...let alone Z!

 

Try sorting your stuff into more specific genres in itunes, then search by Genre first, then artist. This will pair down the list a bit. I have a good deal of stuff in mine as well and even the ipod menus get a bit overwhelmed. Searching by artist on the HU is useless!
