Is DICE-HD compatible with iPhone?

Looking to buy the new 3G version, curious though if it will work with my current setup (DICE-HD and iPod cable)

You know, I was just looking at that phone earlier today, and wondering the same thing...

Anyone?

iPhone 1.0 - 100% compatible
iPhone 3G.... Not so much, you can use it to play the music, but it won't charge! Was a tad bit disappointed this morning when I plugged it in.

I talked to DICE today...seems that Apple changed the pinouts on the new phone. Makes all docking stations previously sold obsolete. What a really bad business decision...

That said, DICE said they are working on a new cable that will fix the problem...2-4 months away. At least it's an easy fix, just not timely.

Interesting part, Apple went away from Firewire to USB. USB was championed by Microsoft, their arch rival. Curiouser and curiouser...

I'd be more interested in someone making an adapter that lets me use my existing iPod adapter investment. Strange that something that should not be much more complex than a crossover cable should take so long to manufacture.

That's what I asked but he claimed it's not quite that easy...but I don't see how it can't be if the HD unit itself will still work. An adapter will let me switch from iPod to iPhone without having to climb under the glovebox...
